Recognized as the “Best Rehabilitation Hospital in America” every year since 1991 by U.S. News and World Report, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago’s Driver Rehabilitation Program provides driver rehabilitation services for teens and adults with a variety of diagnoses.

Our goal is to assist the physician, the client, and family in determining driving potential and / or need for adaptive equipment secondary to disease process or traumatic injury.

The Driver Rehabilitation Team consists of an occupational therapist, a driving instructor a rehabilitation engineer, and vehicle/equipment vendors who all work together to meet the goals of our clients.

Marianjoy Driver Rehabilitation Program

One of the most highly regarded programs in Illinois, Marianjoy’s Driver Rehabilitation program provides driver evaluation and education for people with disabilities. To participate in the driver rehabilitation program, you must be at least 15 years old and require specialized evaluation, education or equipment. A physician’s referral is required. We can accept your doctor’s written referral, or you can schedule an appointment with one of the Marianjoy Medical Group physicians by calling (630) 462-5581.
